Tim's Spider Corner is a brave new world to people like me who suffer from arachnophobia. Congratulations Tim! I am delighted to be able to present you with our GNAE Design Site of the Month Award (May 2004). Judges’ comments : Amazing! The last time Tim applied he managed silver but he’s worked really hard and got to the top of our list! After a close run competition this month, Tim’s Spider Corner has earned our GNAE Design Site of the Month for May, an award only awarded in exceptional circumstances, this being one of those! Wow, what changes this site has made, all required elements present, but what amazes me is the effort and technical expertise dis–played with this site since first viewed. I recommend that team members consider for D.S.O.M. In all my years involved in internet awards I have never seen a site grow with such magnificence and attain score within such a tight grouping. I too thought some pages were a little slow loading, but I must confess that the wait was worth it! I checked about 75 procent of every page and all validated xhtml 1.1 henceforth I awarded 5 extra credit points. Also children studying biology and or science would gain a lot from this site... Well done Tim, you have listened to critique's and taken the appropriate steps to comply. |
